A music video choreographed for the song “Heaven” by John Fryer’s (NIN, Cocteau Twins) project Black Needle Noise & featuring Jennie Vee (Courtney Love, Eagles of Death Metal).

Featuring animation by Mark Francombe (Cranes), the video examines the concept of a woman caught in liminality. She is on the precipice of either moving forward out of her destructive patterns and into the unknown, or retreating backward into the darkness of familiarity. The dance is an exploration of the physical manifestation of this indecision. It is as if the woman is possessed with an entity, sharing her body and mind to the point of insanity and exhaustion.

Choreographed, performed and edited by Caroline Haydon, and directed by Lloyd Galbraith with set design & styling by Talon McKee.
